Embassy in Prague
The U.S. Embassy is located on the west side of the Vlatava River that runs through Prague, on Trziště, adjacent to the embassies for Ireland and Luxembourg.
I wondered if the high-security at the Bratislava embassy would be in evidence here. Police stop and inspect every car that wants to drive by. The only other visible barricades were the black metal posts in the sidewalk, a far cry from those ominous pop-up barriers.
The Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa is on the other side of the street from the Embassy. Room rates start at almost 600 Euros/night.
This is the other end of this charming street, just a block from St. Nicholas Church and a popular tourist area below the Prague Castle.
