Wifi internet

Free wifi is available in Bratislava at several restaurants with a purchase, including “Coffee + Bank.”

The City Council also provides a free hot spot in the pedestrian zone of Old Town in Primaciálne námestie (Primatial Square). Three laptop users on the benches on the left are taking advantage. To the left is the Primaciálne Palace. Behind them is the backside of the historic City Hall.

My students have excellent internet access. The broadband connection in my studio apartment here is better (faster and more reliable) than the options at my home in California. Europe seems to have outpaced the U.S. in broadband coverage, which astonishes me.
