Habitat for Europe
Habitat for Humanity, the organization started in 1976 to build affordable housing, has just opened an international office in Bratislava.
I stopped by the Hotel Danube to see a visiting photography exhibit of some of the housing they have already built in poorer areas of Europe, including eastern Slovakia.
I am a Professor Emerita of Philosophy at California State University, Long Beach.
